Fittings and Alterations

Millie Couture offers a specialist fitting and Alteration service in house, which includes bridesmaids dresses and Mother of the bride outfits.

We look after all our brides from the beginning to the end, allowing all brides to have the necessary fine tuning and alterations completed.

We offer a first fitting appointment at the Salisbury Boutique to establish what needs to be taken care of, and you can team this with a styling appointments if you are looking for accessories to complete the look. We then offer a fittings during the week and Saturdays,

With many years of experience let us take care of all the worries, hems, loose bodices, beading missing, and general fit issues and sometimes reconstuction,

Customisation is a perfect way of adding your own personal touch to your gown, by adding straps, a bolero, lace motifs, extra beading, buttons, or a lace up fastening and accessories like belts veils and belts.

As most off the peg gowns are standard sizes it is quite rare that a dress will fit perfectly in bodice and length. We have a rough guide to alteration prices

After the wedding if you need to get your dress cleaned, or mended we can also look after that for you, we work with a brilliant specialist dry cleaner in the area who collects the gown from us cleans it checks it over before packaging it in acid free tishue and sending it back to us, we can also arrange for a stunning dress box to be specially made in many choices of colours all for the cost of £130.00, this way you can pack it away safely with all the treasured memories in tact.
